When I text, I do not get the swoosh sound and when I receive a text I do not get the alert sound .

Ishuai-9 lets get those sounds going again! Can you check the side of your phone for the switch to make sure do not disturb is turned on? You can also check in settings > sounds > text tones to see if those are set to silent.
