Hi, I have a general question in regards to reusing an older iPhone model on the Verizon Network.
My girlfriend has given me an iPhone 4s since she has upgraded to the 5 via Sprint.
Will I be able to use this phone with Verizon? I'm not trying to Jailbreak or do anything that I shouldn't do.
But since it has a clean ESN and has been paid for, it would be a shame for the phone to go to waste when I could use it.
Thanks.

Can't do it, and unfortunately, this is standard operating procedure for CDMA carriers.
Verizon will not activate an MEID that isn't in their Device Management Database (neither will Sprint, for that matter), even if the hardware is identical to their version of the phone.

No other alternatives?
Thanks for your time.
Sell it and buy a Verizon version.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
Sounds like a plan. Thank you.
