Static in the other end, always!

Whenever and whenever I am on the phone the party I'm speaking to complains about not hearing me like I'm in a perpetual wind tunnel. It's intermittent but by every 5-10 seconds the static begins and they can't hear me. I hear the party clearly. Driving me crazy! Is it the phone, what should I do? Help

Hearing static while on a phone call can be quite frustrating when trying to conversate JaneP888. When did you start experiencing difficulties with the calling party hearing static? Is it only one specific person who hears static on their end or every call you make? What model iPhone do you have?
