My roommate and I both got the new iphone 4s. When I text him it send it as a regular text. When he text me it sends it as an I Imessage however I do not receive his messages and he is able to receive mine. I have went in and changed his number to iphone in the contacts I don't know if that does anything or not. Can anyone be of assistants to me.
Have you checked your settings to make sure that you have iMessage turned on? Also, make sure you (and your roommate) have "Send As SMS" turned on...see if that helps.
