Is there a way to create a group distribution for texting?

I'm not sure if you can create a group and save it (meaning to select a group and it will always send the text to everyone in the group) but I know there is a way to do it in an individual text. To do it:

Create a new text message.

In the "TO" field start typing the first name of the recipient and select that person.

After selecting the first person your cursor should still be in the "TO" field. If not put it there.

Then start typing the name of the second recipient and select that person.

Repeat if there are more than 2 recipients.

After you have selected everyone you want to send it to just continue on like normal to send a text.

That would be a great feature ASO!

I do not think the iPhone has this feature. Fortunately, 3rd party applications can do that and more. While VZW cannot recommend any particular application, I would recommend doing an online search including: iPhone group messaging. I'm sure you will find more than one application capable of sending messages to a group of contacts.
