Traveling abroad

My wife and I are traveling abroad with a large group.  I want to turn off cell service on our iPhone 6s and use only wifi.  How do I keep everything but cell coverage active?  Thank you!

We definitely would not want you to receive any unexpected charges and we're happy to ensure that you have all the details you need. To avoid roaming charges while abroad you can disable the Data Roaming as well as the Cellular Data settings to prevent a roaming connection. Also, when not in use, you can enable Airplane mode to disable all radio connections. Find the links for all these settings below:
