Travelling London and Paris and want ample data plan on my phone to search maps, directions, restaurants, sites while in the city not connected to Wi-Fi. Verizon intl plan give skimpy data of 100 MB.  So do I need a SIM card?  What type and same one for both countries or different?  Can I connect to Wi-Fi spots without a fee?

Making sure you have all options for international service is very important to us, Mickey9121.

If the international plans are not enough to help out, your iPhone 6 us unlocked for international service.

This means that you are able to purchase a prepaid SIM from a local provider in England or France to use your phone with.

You will want to check with the local providers to see if the same service and SIM will be compatible between both countries.

Regarding WiFi, as long as the WiFi hotspot avaialble are free, there will be no additional payments needed to access. WiFi is the same as out here in the US.
