How do I get Verizon to unlock my iPhone? It's paid for and I'm not under any type of plan. The phone is a replacement I received last year through Asurion, and that seems to be one reason they give me for not unlocking the device. I've been trying for five days to get the phone unlocked! I finally talked with CSR Amanda who sent a ticket to IT (Tier 2), and two days later I receive an email that they denied my request! I'm now 40 minutes into a phone call with a "supervisor". This is insane. No wonder I'm switching to Xfinity.
A supervisor can't do anything about it, dunno whose idea was it to suggest that waste of time..
A phone unlock request is a literal push of a button. If CS doesn't have the option, a supervisor's system will see the same. Unless it was a sup in tier 2, this is a waste of time.
We want to make sure that you are able to unlock your device as needed. To clarify, is this a device that was activated on a Verizon account for more that 60 days?
