I was using my iPhone4s from 2011-2014 when i was in the US. I already came back in my country, tokyo, and my contract with Verizon is over. I am just wondering if they still can unlock my device if i call them from tokyo. I want to use my iPhone4s again with a different sim.

Great news, giulia_tokyo. There's no longer the need for us to unlock an iPhone 4s for use with a local carrier's SIM. In order for your iPhone 4s to recognize this option and use a different SIM, you may need to reset your phone http://vz.to/1FNxvZl then restore through iTunes http://apple.co/1FNxwwy before the local SIM will be properly program. And it will still be able to be used with our reliable service if you return!
