Update Carrier Settings?

Today I received a push notification saying I could update my carrier settings. Does anyone know what the update entails or where I can find that information? It is either carrier settings update or carrier services update.

We have 5 lines, 3 of which are iPhone 6. Only one of those phones is getting this notification multiple times a day. We are wary of updating if only one line is getting these notices. Advice?
