VZ Messages - unknown error and low res pictures

I just installed VZ Messages on my iPhone 5 with IOS8. The app shows an "unknown error" message that doesn't seem to have any effect but it's hard to tell. What is this?

Also, all of the pictures I receive are low quality. In the native IOS message app, the pictures look great. It doesn't matter who sends it to me, iPhone or Android. Is there a setting that should be changed?

Let's get this working for you! Have you attempted to remove, then readd the app? About your pictures, are you receiving them via text or email?

OK, re installing fixed the error message.  Hopefully that also fixes the crashing - sometimes I needed to restart the app to see my message, after I had seen a banner that one was received.

Pictures are coming in through text messages.

The low res picture issue is unresolved. I still receive pictures with

Hmmm. Let's keep working on this. Does this happen with every photo? Does it just happen when you view it in Verizon Messages?

Yes, every photo and only on VZ messages. The pictures look fine on the IOS

app.

The picture quality has been fixed somehow. Now the problem is this :

someone texted me 3 pictures yesterday and only two show up on VZ messages

but all 3 are in the IOS app.

I see.  This was just one isolated incident?  I would monitor to see if any patterns arise.  If issue persists we can suggest restarting phone or uninstalling and then reinstalling application again.  Please let us know if we can further assist. Thanks!
