Verizon Message on MacBook. Is it possible to downgrade from ver. 1.5? I find that it is non functional on my MacBook.

I find that it is way too slow, takes too much screen space, and crashes too often to make it functional on my MacBook.  I would like to go back to the previous version if possible.
