I'm wondering why when you call Verizon the automated message says iPhones 7 and 7plus are in stores. Even the commercials say that. That's false advertisement I would say.

That is because they are in-store. You cant change a commercial or a automated message like that. Some stores may have the iPhone 7 in stock while others don't.

What they are saying is: "The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are now available for purchase in stores! Dependent on actual in store inventory"

Are you saying that there are NO display models? Are you saying that there are NO configurations of either of these models? Or are you simply saying the color and size you would like to get is not available? I have been in "stores" and there are SOME configurations of EACH of these devices available along with display models of each. So they are in EVERY store I have visited since release day, at least. Not ALL colors and not ALL memory sizes, but there are SOME available.

Of course you can change a commercial. It's done everyday. It was misleading and so are the messages. And those can also be changed.

Are you serious?!? There are over 2,000+ Verizon Wireless stores/kiosks in the United States! So you seriously think they can change this for everytime a store goes out of stock with a certain model of iPhone 7?!? ​SERIOUSLY???

Um that's not what I meant. after the phones came out and the supplies were very low, Verizon was still airing commercials about how they were in the stores but really weren't. That's all I meant. Especially the 7 plus ones.

It may be a stretch, but I suggest checking with an Apple store if you have one close. I had a 256 black on order with a delivery of mid-October. I was checking the store's stock several times a day and on September 26th they appeared for a short time. I took an early lunch and grabbed it and canceled my order. Luckily they are 12 minutes from my office. Also, as of this morning, that store has the coveted jet black 256 in stock. Good luck.
