This has happened twice now. Voicemail just stops downloading. I have a record of the phone call but no voicemail. If I reboot the phone, the old messages appear and new ones also appear....for a period of time. Then they stop downloading again. Short term, I am turning my phone off every night but that's not a good solution.

Using Apple video voicemail. No changes to phone. If I call into voicemail, I can hear the voicemail. The phone also shows a missed call. I just don't get the voicemail. Restarting the phone makes the voicemails download and it works for a while but then stops again. I also performed the network reset.
