What's going on with these preorders?

I preordered my 128 gb 7+ at around 3pm 9/9 and my estimated ship date is 10/5. I haven't been charged or even sent an email to me or no contact from verizon about my phone and I have a friend who preordered his phone way after me and his is already on its way!! What's with that!!

Super frustrated now. Guess i have to wait, anyone else have this issue?

Same. Ordered mine at 8AM (CST), 128 GB iPhone 7+ matte black.
Do not have any update in terms of my order, and it says "Processing".

I have friends that have gone into a physical Verizon store, and have picked up the same phone in person.

I really don't even see the point in pre-ordering these phones anymore. So backwards.

Same for me. Order and delivery date. Still says processing also. Was hoping might come sooner but no indication of that.

Ordered mine as soon as preorder went live and my ship date was 10/5 and now got moved back a week to 10/12.  Super annoyed

I ordered my 7+ 128 gig black matte between 8-9est on 9/9.  Estimated date was 9/23.  My credit card was charged tonight so it's right on track.

Nope I haven't. It just says they will ship mine on 9/28/16 grr

I have been charged already, but when I checked the order status it said that it won't even ship until November 23. WTF?

I never got an email and the phone did arrive on 9/22
