Hi barbchar02, this link has a iPhone microphones test you might want to try, just to check and see if they're working OK, to eliminate a possible hardware microphone issue.

This would be a better question to ask on the Apple website. Verizon has nothing to do with iOS updates.
Interesting where you don't even follow your own advice.

I'm curious WHAT in my post you reference in any way could be construed as a question to Verizon asking anything about Lumia phones or the OS????
I was not asking a question in that post, so I don't know how you could think I wasn't following my own advice in that post???
Possibly you could point to ANY post by me in that thread where I ask when the Windows phone update was going to be released.
Where barbchar02 was making their first post to the community forum. You were subjective to the content by responding with a negative - Verizon has nothing to do with iOS updates. Which is easily perceived as not a very friendly user forum.
Yet it's ironic that in another post based on software updates that don't pertain to Verizon, you'd go on to post an answer.
Last year when Android 5.0 Lollipop was first released the majority of the post to the Verizon Android community forum were in regard to that update, even though that OS is released by the manufacturer for whatever device.
I'm not gonna get into a shooting match with you here, but thought your post was kind of lame in the manner it was presented.
Yet you still didn't say what advice I gave which I didn't follow...
