Why does Verizon rob us by charging exorbitant "retail pricing" so that they can seem generous by giving $200 off when you purchase a new smart phone? Whose "retail prices" are they? Definitely not Apple because Apple's pricing is significantly cheaper (

I am sooo pissed off at Verizon for their shady tactics in trying to deceive consumers by luring them into purchasing an Apple iPhone to receive $200.00 off of an iPad when purchasing a new iPhone at retail prices.  Their "retail prices" are highway robbery because Apple's pricing is shown below and I don't know about you but I'm so offended by their assuming me to be stupid enough to fall for this trick!!!  It's an insult to my intelligence and more offensive to my purse!!!  I refuse to pay "retail" pricing ever - there is no rational reason to do so.  Not one!  I don't know about you but I'm definitely not falling for this!  Talk about buyer beware - they definitely had Verizon in mind!!!

I have copied and pasted the below from Apple's website"

The OP listed prices in British pounds, not Euros...so even bigger difference:

£1 = $1.54

I suggest the OP checks the US Apple site??
