Why has my service changed/dropped?

Why has my service changed/dropped.  I am very frustrated.  I work from home and need my phone to work.  I have already tried the network reset on the phone.  Would like the service that I pay a lot of money for to work.

poor cell service in my house bounces between 1 to 2 bars.  If I switch it from airplane mode on/off it bounces to 4 bars then right back to 2 or 1.  Dropping calls.  All of my other devices have excellent coverage.  Iphone 6s.
