Why is my screen enlarging and how can I stop this?

screen enlarges about 200% and I cannot turn it off or access icons - booting does not help - did this on iPhone 4 too

Does it look like this?

Do you have Zoom Accessibility turned on? That option is under Settings/General/Accessibility/Zoom.

To Zoom -- Double-tap with three fingers.

To move around the screen -- Drag three fingers while zoomed.

To change zoom -- With three fingers, double-tap and drag up or down.
