Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me when 3G and Wifi are both available, which one will iPhone be using to connect to the internet? Thanks.

The iPhone will use WiFi when available over 3G if you are connected to the wifi in question. Known networks will be joined automatically (networks you have connected to before like your home wifi). You can turn on a setting  that asks you to join networks each time rather than having it connect automatically. All of this is dependent on you actually having the wifi setting turned on in the iPhone and having access to the available wifi around you.
