Won't let me move emails to Trash on iPhone 6S

My new iPhone 6S won't let me move emails to Trash. A window pops up stating can't move messages to the Trash. I have set up my email accounts and can't figure out why I can't move unwanted emails to trash.

We want to make sure that we get your device working correcty. When you open an email, there is a trash icon at the bottom of the screen. If you push the icon, the email should go into it. Please describe what's happening of how you are delating the email.
