I pre ordered my iPhone 15 mins after the release, but something went wrong on Verizon's end. I talked to a customer service rep today and they said since it's their fault they would cancel my old order, have me put a new one in, and push the ship date back to the 21st (Even though ordering today would cause it to be Oct 5th.)
Is this even possible? They have the option to bring orders to the front of the line? I don't see why they would lie to me, but it seems strange.
Actually I think it's true! Talked to a 3rd rep today and she said she saw that it had been pushed up also. Then, I check my order status online and the date change from 10/5/12 to 9/21/12!!
