dropped calls

I have been experiencing dropped calls when using this phone at home. I have had this phone for 8 months and have gotten very frustrated with the phone. It is a regular occurrence and is either the network or the phones technology. I am suspecting the technology. I know there are others with the same problem. I am interested in what they have done. Thanks.
