facetime issues.Can not hear.

My husband has the 5s, and we facetime all the time. A few days ago i could not hear him. I could see him, but no sound. This is happening all the time now. I have checked the mic and it works fine. Both of our phones are updated to the latest IOS. Please help!

I'm terribly sorry that you are having trouble with your device, marygarnett8! Are you able to get sound when using it for a regular phone call? Will it play the sound when a video is taken? If so, please go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings & reset just the settings of the phone to see if this issue will be corrected.
