I have had my Iphone for a couple years now. And I just had recently upgraded to the 6s. What is very annoying me is this. My boyfriend is getting duplicate text messages. He gets them through out the day.. I have talked to tech support, I have reset my network settings. And I believe he has done the same. Now why would this still be happening for? I want to get this resolved. This is just really annoying..

This is a mystery that we’re looking to solve for you bsufan09. I can certainly understand getting these duplicate messages would be rather worrysome. Let’s find out more. Are the messages iMessages (blue bubble) or text messages (green bubble)? Outside of resetting the network settings, what other steps have you tried? Please share some additional details so we can get this resolved.

They are in green..
When I was on the phone with tech support. They refreshed things from your end.. But if all this was done.. Why should he be getting them still
Still looking at things?? I'm very annoyed with.. It's like it's not getting fixed at all!!!
Bsufan09, we’re not giving up on this just yet. Just a few more questions for you related to the messages. Are they only happening with this person? Does this person also have a VZW account?

Melissa, these are a few things you may want to try for iMessages.
Settings > Messages > iMessages toggle OFF iMessages for about 5 minutes then turn back ON.
Settings > Notifications > Messages (Badges,Sounds,Banners) > Repeat Alerts try setting that to Once or Never.
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive - you should have your phone # showing in there, but if your Email address is also listed in there it could send duplicate messages.
