When my phone rings its says "unknown", and won't allow me to answer. When I make a call I can't hear the other person. Help!!!

nouny101, having a working phone is a must so let’s get this figured out. Has there been any damage to the device, liquid or physical? How long has this been happening? Also, have you recently downloaded any new applications?

no damage....I started using the phone about a week ago, and it began right
after. I got it from work. I can't think of any new applications I've
downloaded.
