i phone 7 upgrade

hello I have upgraded my wifes phone from a I phone 4s to a 7. we are on the same plan but different numbers, but anytime I add or delete something to my phone hers does the same. also we had to upgrade her phone because it had an activation lock on it. how do I fix it.

toddjobo, congrats on the new phone! We will be more than happy to address each concern one at a time. Typically, when you find you perform an action on one phone and it occurs on another means your Apple ID is tied to both devices. Do you both share the same Apple ID?

I appreciate you clarifying that information. We do want to set the right expectation. Apple does not recommend that you share Apple ID. Each iOS users should be using and creating their own Apple ID to prevent this from happening. We would recommend having her sign out and set up her own ID.
