***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. iPhone 11 Pro Max won't receive verification (2 factor authentication) texts

My wife's iPhone 11 Pro Max will not receive any verification codes of any type. For example, Venmo, Uber, Facebook, etc. She has had the phone since last September and it has never worked. We have been Verizon customers for 5+ years so it isn't a port issue. And yes, I have tried EVERY general troubleshooting fix there is - shutting it down, factory reset settings, turn off data, etc. etc. etc.
