Hi guys & girls.
i've bought the iphone 5 a1429 model in US, from the apple store, and told them that im a foreigner and that i would be using it on LTE networks in Denmark.
And now it wont work in Denmark on LTE.
The a1429 model can access the 1800mhz singnals my carrier provides for LTE.
What is happening, is there anything to do ?
I've been looking everywhere is there a chance somebody can help me ?
or can verizon help me unlock it !
THANKS
You must be a Verizon Wireless customer and the device being unlocked must be active on a Verizon line of service for at least 60 days in good standing. You can contact Verizon's global team for further assistance at 908-559-4899 (outside the U.S.) or 800-711-8300 (inside the U.S.).
what does it mean ?
the problem is that i dont live in US and i just want to access 4g/LTE network.

My guess is that the Verizon iPhone will not work on your LTE network. The Verizon iPhone is designed for use on a 700mhz LTE network and you are trying to use it on your providers 1800mhz LTE network. Not compatible.
Good luck.
thanks spiral..
Dont you think they are willing to unlock my phone for me ?
No they will not unlock it for you.
It might also be a hardware limitation and could never work on the Denmark LTE network.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
I agree with Ann154 on the hardware limitation. It is also my understanding that the iPhone 5 is already 'unlocked' so that is not the issue in this situation.
thanks guys.
but the thing is that it can can access all the necessary mhz but it simply wont access it !
Greetings to Denmark, k.justesen!
Thanks for taking an interest in our product. In order to use the iPhone, you would have to be a Verizon customer on a Verizon calling plan.
