iPhone 6 in UK

I am in London. My iPhone 6 will not connect to any networks. I called and had "Global" enabled before I left the US. Verizon Support phones will not answer a call from Skype, so I am stuck w/o help. Any advise on how to make the iPhone work here?

Of course I checked that link before I left the US. It tells me the phone will work and what the rates are. My phone will not connect to a carrier. If set to auto connect is will not connect. If I turn to manual connect I can try Vodafone, O2, etc. It will connect to a second or two and then disconnect.
