iPhone 6 wifi issues

I got my iPhone 6 last night and had no problem getting it activated. It connected to wifi just fine but 2 hours later it disconnected from wifi and will not let me back on. It give me an error that my password is incorrect or the wifi is unable to connect. I have other products including an iPhone and an iPad that are working fine on the same wifi network. I have tried resetting my network settings in the phone, resetting the router, resetting the phone by holding the home and off buttons, turning wifi off on the phone as well as forgetting the netword and trying again. I keep getting the same two error messages over and over. Please help!

Did you try to power off the wireless router then turn it back on?

Do you have a neighbor, or someone (a McDonald's) nearby that you could try to connect to their network?  If you can not connect to anyone else's network it sounds like your phone is no good.

Definitely the phone. Wifi does not work on it anywhere.

I have the same issue since I switched to verizon. At first I had the Note 4, but couldn't handle it after being an iPhone user, but said i had used all of my data 10 days into my plan, which was ridiculous. I got the iPhone 6, and just realized it says it is connected under the settings but on the top right of the screen, it either says Lite, 3x, 1x, verizon, etc. so the wifi hasn't been working the entire time I've had my account (about 2 months) and been charged over 75 dollars of data overcharge. When I called customer service, they couldn't troubleshoot and told me to go into a corporate verizon store.. which I haven't had time to do, but good news that I am not the only one with this problem.
