iPhone XR purchased in Korea

I bought iPhone XR in Seoul and have used it successfully with ATT network for a year. I am switching to Verizon and am told device will not work even though it is unlocked.  Any ideas?

Hello Elouisie! We'd love to have you as part of the family. However, not all devices are compatible. Keep in mind that different carriers use different bands and frequencies, and that's the reason not all devices work on all networks. When a device is unlocked, it means that you can use other compatible SIM cards, but this doesn't guarantee it will work on a different network. You can find out if the device is compatible here: https://www.verizon.com/od/prepaid/bring-your-own-device/ Also, you can trade-in your device for credit for a new phone: https://www.verizon.com/od/trade-in/ I hope this helps.
