ios update - voicemail screen issues

ever since the ios update, my voicemail and call screens are horrible. they freeze nonstop, the voicemails dont play, they dont erase -- when the screen freezes, i have to manually get out of the screen, double click the home button and close the program, and then go back in - EACH TIME - SO ANNOYING. And i'm in sales, and I use the phone for work, so theres lots of calls and voicemails!

I kept hoping with the revision updates, this bug would be fixed, but APPARENTLY NOT.

I googled to see if anyone else had any answers and Apple says since it's voicemail, thats the carrier's problem -- so Verizon, please help!!

An iOS update should only improve the performance of your apple device dcilavsky! I understand the importance of having your voicemail and calling features work properly, especially with your profession. The problems you have described sound hardware/device specific.
