Anyone figure out how to order the phone at the discounted price with the 2 year contract? I was told I'm grandfathered in for the upgrade discounts, but I don't see an option to get the discount online. It is only giving me the option to Pay monthly or Pay Full price.

Sounds like you won't get the discounted price like in the past, from cnet site here is how upgrades will be handled assuming you haven't changed plans:
Every two years, Verizon offers existing contract customers the opportunity to upgrade with what is essentially a $200 voucher to spend on whatever new smartphone they want. Customers opting for a more expensive smartphone, like an iPhone 6 Plus or an iPhone 6 with higher storage pay the difference.
Verizon customers on the contract plan will continue to get that perk as long as they stick with their original plan.

I haven't changed plans and when I called Verizon last month, The rep told me I wouldn't lose my upgrade. I just dont see an option to use my upgrade on the pre-order

yeah that's strange if I don't do preorder the subsidized price shows. you may have to call

I called and they were able to do it over the phone, its currently not an option online

I contacted them online after having the same problem and they told me that they had to fix it online.
They said I couldn't call over the phone?

The upgrade price wasn't available for me online for the 6s or 6s plus, but was for all other phones. I chatted with a rep and they said they were having problems with their system and to call. I called, and had no problem getting the upgrade price for the 6s.

Ha !!! Thought I was losing my mind . I too logged onto my Verizon account at 12am to place an order for the 6s Plus . Logged in , Clicked on the "Upgrade " , which I had available on 09/05/2015 .
Anyways, Clicked the upgrade , went on to choose the Gold 6S Plus 128GB , and went check out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,All of a sudden I only had 2 options to choose from,,,,,,,,,,,1- I could do a 2 year payment of $39.99 a month,,,,,,,,,,,,,OR,,,2- Pay in full.
I saw this , Thought I had done something wrong , and started the ordering process all over again.
Went through it all again , clicked " upgrade ", and got the same response.
But when my order was finally placed,,,,,,,,,my renewal disappeared online
After I placed my order I called Verizon and they told me that after my phone arrives they would make sure that I got the upgrade price.
Anyways, Just wanted you to know that I too went through the same debacle as you did.
Let's just hope that Verizon keeps their word , and honors the " upgrade" price on my account.
