We've confirmed multiple times that the cellular data is off, and wifi is on. Other devices on the same wifi are working fine. The multiple agents I've chatted with on support confirm it's using data, but can't explain why. I show them multiple months of below 1 gb usage, and now a jump to 14 gb, still no help. Could the phone be damaged?

Thank you for the response. I didn't find anything called wifi assist on his phone. I'll look up the instructions and look again.
I did find out that he goes for walks, away from the house and wifi, and uses data. His use still seems way high, about 3x what he has ever used before.
