keep losing my rintone from itunes

i keep losing my ringtone i have purchased it twice it shows up under sounds but later it disappers

This is exactly what has happened to me. I got the ringtones I wanted from iTunes store for both calls and text, three times !!! , when I upgraded to 8.11 all of the disappeared. So I paid for them all again, then I turned it off and back on , and they were all gone again !

I did do a back up , but I cant find how to get them back from the backup to the cloud.

Very frustrating and expensive ! Help ! I actually have a 6 plus.

Ringtones are in your ringtone folder on iTunes as well as the device. Music sometimes has these mixed in.

You must to be absolutely sure is to connect to iTunes and then click on ringtones and click sync.

They will be transferred to your device.

I am sorry to  hear of the issues with your ringtones. To clarify did you purchase the ringtones on the computer in iTunes or on your device? Do the purchases show up when you sign into iTunes on your computer? If you plug your device into the computer are you able to see the ringtones then?

I downloaded them to my phone using ITunes Store.

It actually told me I had already purchased it after the first time.

Its a learning curve.

Try this.

Open Up MUSIC on the iPhone.

Then Click on MORE on the right hand bottom.

Then click on PLAY LISTS.

Then click on PURCHASED MUSIC.

It should show all the purchased music and ringtones.

or try SETTINGS-SOUNDS-Sound and Vibration Patterns-Ringtone

You can then search for the ringtone in there.
