***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. Daughter's phone has lines on the screen.  it started as a dot and then expanded

Thanks for the information Kathleen67. If the device has a cracked screen there is not a way to determine if the issue is a cause from this or not. If you have insurance on the lien then we do recommend looking into getting a replacement. If there is no insurance on the line then please keep us posted so that we can review other options.

Lines in a screen definitely signals and issue that needs our attention. Lets get to the bottom of this so that we can get your daughter back to using her phone with an unobstructed view. When did this issue began? What happened to the screen before the lines or the dot started to appear?

This issue happened about 6 days ago.  Nothing happened to  the screen recently. It was cracked about 4 months ago.

Not to worry Kathleen67, we can check additional options as well. Is the line eligible for an upgrade? You can dial #UPG from the phone in question or check online via your My Verizon account.
