not sending messages to only one person

Hello my phone will send and receive messages to all my friends except one person... they send me a text and i receive it but when i reply they get nothing.Im not getting an error message..and this just started happening 2 days ago. I was even standing next to her and texting her and nothing ... I even called verizon they had me turn off my phone and update the software but its still happening .. can someone help me please ?
