poor Verizon signal iPhone 8

I live in Laguna Beach area and the signal on my phone is one bar and sometimes it goes to 3g from Lte and the data speed is very slow that I can't use any app or safari. is there any way to improve the signal?

the network will generally deliver 5-12 mbps at best & can be much slower.

i suggest you use/add wi-fi.
