slow iPhone 4

I upgraded to the ios7 when it first came out.  Unfortunate for me.  Now my phone is extremely slow and constantly freezes.  It has even sent a few random blank text messages on it's own. I am becoming incresingly frustrated with the phone.  I haven't even had it a full year yet.  I have tried the *228 and updated my roaming.  I even looked up a few tricks online and tried shutting off random things on the phone.  Nothing seems to help.  Is there anything I can do?  I am seriously considering looking into other carriers to get out of my phone.  I dont think I will ever buy an iPhone again at this point!

iOS7 is much too complicated for Iphone 4's.  Plus 90% of the features don't even work with iPhone 4

I'm staying with iOS 6
