someone has taken over my phone. I hesitate to use the word clone but this person has been sending vulgar texts to my friends from what appears to be my phone. I have changed my password many time and they change it back to where I can not get in my phone. They got on my face book account and sent vulgar messages. I finally had to deactivate my account to keep this from happening. How can I stop this and is their a way to fine out where this is coming from. Verizon has been no help.
Hi Welcome59,
We take phone security seriously! I am sorry to hear that someone is accessing your accounts without your permission. Facebook uses an email account to sign in, so it appears that maybe your email address has been compromised. Is this the same email account on your device? If so, I would strongly recommend changing your email password, which is different from the device password. Keep me posted.
Thanks,
