Why does my calls to my contacts show up as unknown caller

Is it possible that the problem calls are not providing or are blocking caller ID?  It could be you have your caller ID blocked on your calls.  Just because someone is in YOUR contact list, doesn't mean that blocking caller ID is bypassed when you call them.
