Can I upgrade my phone, not the main line on the plan and not change my text and data if i also change my plan from 1400 mins to 700mins.

Not sure I understand your question.  You can change your calling plan from 1400 to 700 minutes without it changing your contract end date.  You can upgrade your phone 20 months into your two-year contract.

I'm so excited you're getting a new phone! You can definitely upgrade your phone without changing your calling plan.  You may need to update your data plan if you already have one.  You can also change your minute plan as well.
