will visual voicemail convert existing voicemails?

If i switch to visual voicemail will it convert the voicemails i already have to text?

Visual voicemail is a visual notification of voicemails where you can then play pause save and delete without dialing into basic voicemail.  Premium visual voicemail allows you to store more messages and to transcribe voice to text.  That is a fee-cost service.  However, transcription takes place at the time of the message receipt.  Previous messages will not be transcribed to my knowledge.
