Discovery+ cancellation

I have not been able to cancel my Discovery+ subscription for 6 months. I chatted/Phoned with an agent and they told me it was removed but I'm still getting charged monthly.

 The 'My Add-ons & Apps' section under my Verizon does not allow me to cancel it. Due to recent updates in the portal, I can see this under the +Play subscription page but am still not able to cancel.

I reached out to customer care at least 10 times in the last 6 months and every time they promised it canceled and got a confirmation email/message also but again it appeared in the bill.

One of the worst customer service in the world. I have asked agents to escalate and share the ticket number for tracking then they will STOP responding to my chat. 😞

reachshankar82, I am truly sorry to hear that you have had to contact us several times to get this matter resolved. Your time is valuable and the last thing anyone wants is for you to have to constantly follow up on this. Allow me to gather a bit of information to be sure we are headed in the right direction. Do you currently have Disney + or the Disney Bundle? Have you attempted to cancel this through the app or the full website? Are you doing so through the account owner phone number?

don’t know what to say? I am talking about Discovery+ subscription and you are talking Disney+


Please read my concern properly and address it.

FYI - I have following subscriptions with verizon

1. Netflix + NFL

2. Disney+ bundle

3. discovery+ — I have never used it and unable to cancel past 6 months but still Verizon is charging me every month $6.99

I have tried all possible ways even agents are not able to cancel but every time I am getting confirmation that the subscription was canceled. The message says like this

"Per your request, we removed the discovery+ (Ad-Free) subscription from your account."

I have raised ticket but so far no response.

It seems the subscription got canceled today but a $7 credit should be given for wrongly charged in the last month's bill.
