I recently downgraded myFiOS TV from ultimate to preferred. Before I made the change, I made sure the preferred package included the NHL network. In addition, after I made the switch, I received a printout of the channels available, the NHL Network had a check mark next to it indicating it is included (not included channels have a dollar sign after them). On 11/28, I turned on NHL Network and the screen said it was not included in my subscription but I could subscribe. I called customer service on 11/29 and I was told that NHL Network is not part ofpreffered, only the 2 higher priced packages. She wouldn't work with me to resolve the issue. I asked for the NHL Network be added at no extra charge since everything I read and have say it is included. Again, she kept telling me it wasn't part of the package. I advised her I was calling the state attorney general's office to reportComcast for consumer fraud for the bait and switch scheme they are pulling. I'm contemplating canceling Verizon and going back toComcast. I've been a loyal Verizon customer for years, including my cell phones. Maybe its time to switch everything.
NHL Network has never been a part of preferred as far as I know. Unfortunately the guide sometimes does contain mistakes and unfortunately it's in their terms that they arent reliable for mistakes nor do they have to do a thing about it. It's not bait and switch, just simply incorrect information that is provided. Happened to me before as well. Hopefully by you bringing it to their attention they will fix the channel lineup for your area.
