Bill increasing astronomical

I have been with Verizon for almost 6 years and noticed that my bill has increased %50 over this period of time. I have spoke to numerous agents and they were not very helpful! 3 months ago, I called and spoke to an agent, she kept me on the phone for almost 2 hours ... negotiating a new contract and she never follow up. I am very disappoint and I am afraid I have reached my breaking point. Customer services representative are rude and speaks down to Me. Not very helpful at all.
