Billing paymentdate

My current billing payment date is the 19th of the month.  My Social Security is available on 4th Wednesday of the month (always after the 19th), my retirment is available on the 25th of the month, and my retirement job paycheck is every other week.  Consequently, I am often in the position of waiting for income to become available before paying a bill due on the19th.  I would like to move my payment date to some point after the 25th of the month.  I would then be able to set up auto pay.

In a lengthy discussion with "Sunshine" a very helpful representative, it turns out there is no way to change the billing date...ever.  This is just unacceptable for a company like Verizon.  Has anybody found a way to change the billing date?
