Checking order

my order number is {edited for privacy}and when I just went to look it up in the section on this website where you can check on your order and it wouldn't let me type all of the order number in, as if there wasn't enough space to type it, so does this mean that they gave me the wrong number to look up the request with? or is there a special way to type it in?
