Can anyone please help? I am dealing with a very frustrating situation. I had Verizon Fios service for several years at a previous address. I sold that house in September 2017, and cancelled my service there. I have now learned that Verizon apparently continued to charge me for services at my former address for nearly A FULL YEAR, never sending me a bill, even though they had my email, cell phone, and forwarding address on file. On top of that, Verizon has since reported my account delinquent and in collections to the credit bureaus, which is how I found out about this in the first place, since I'm in the process of applying for financing for a new home. I called the Verizon Recovery Center (number listed on the trade line), and they have told me that despite the fact that I have not PAID the $750+ dollars they fraudulantly charged me, they refuse to send a removal letter to the credit bureaus. This whole scenario has greatly impacted my home buying process and my credit score and history. How can I escalate this matter and get a proper resolution? Please help!!
